Please sponsor me for the CIBC Run for the Cure

FUNDRAISING FOR RUN PARTICIPANTS

I am writing to ask for your support for a cause that is very important to me. I’m (walking/running) in this year’s Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2006.

I’ve set a goal of raising $500 and I’d greatly value any donation you might make to help me reach it. The Run generates critically important dollars to help create a future without breast cancer, and it’s personal for me because breast cancer has touched my friends and family.

I personally am going to start with a donation of $20. I’d appreciate if you can match or better it.

Your donation will be added to the funds raised by the Run, and will be directed towards research, education and awareness programs. This year’s Run will take place in 51 communities on the same day across the country, and we anticipate nearly 200,000 men, women, breast cancer survivors, families and supporters who have been touched by breast cancer to participate.

Competition selected, need some titles

Hi all

Thanks to those of you that helped me make the selections. I have chosen:

Okay Mel, I know this is not your favorite but I have to do it. A male photographer friend of mine (and you know who you are) said it was, well, um, ah . . . I just can't say it here as it has sexual overtones and we have to keep this a family show folks. :-)

Title is "Weathered"

I'm open to other ideas on titles for any of them. I like Escape though.
